Jackson is a multidisciplinary artist whose unique process combines art and technology when creating his work. Using traditional mediums and disciplines along with the latest in digital technology, he fashions compelling art that’s powerful in its design and execution.

Born in New Jersey, Jackson then moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he spent his early formative years. This is where his connection to the organic form developed. The natural surroundings along the shoreline and in the coastal forest sparked his fascination with the flora, forms and textures inherent in nature. Those powerful experiences still influence his art today. After receiving a degree in design at Mississippi State University, Jackson went on as a global creative director to influence the branding of many Fortune 50 companies while creating fine art for galleries in Atlanta. His primary subject is the organic form. Beginning with hundreds of drawings of form and texture as inspiration for further exploration, he then uses an alchemy of mediums and techniques to develop finished paintings, sculpture, digital images, or mixed media. Jackson’s creative process is a fascinating interplay between traditional and digital mediums to refine his unique aesthetic and create images and sculptures that emit a sense of beauty and mystery.

His work can be found in private collections of those who have curated an expansive collection to new art collectors just beginning their journey. Jackson has participated in local and national exhibitions. His art is also part of university collections, such as the University of Southern Mississippi, and has been commissioned to create art for such companies as Bloomingdale’s, Marriott Hotels, and Coca-ColA. He maintains a studio in Atlanta while teaching both drawing and painting at several predominant centers of art located in the city.
